I found this photo in my mom’s dresser drawer. I believe she is from my maternal line; either a Middlebrooks or Parks. I don’t know who she is, but I see a lot of living and wisdom in her face. I wish I knew her name.

What an amazing picture San! I too see alot of wisdom in her face… Lord to sit at her feet & hear her stories! What would they reveal?

That's a great photo. She reminds me a lot of my Ms. Mary Williams, who reared my paternal grandfather. It would be neat if you could find out who she is.
Hi! This is a Great photo. It would be neat if you could learn who she is. My uncle gave me a beautiful photo album, but he didn't know, and mom didn't, all of the names. (knew some, but not all) We got lucky, connected with kinfolk we'd never met in Kentucky, and she gave my mom a photo of her grandparents as a young couple. And there were two of our unidentified people! So, somehow, someway, good Lord willing, you will connect with some family member who knows who she is, OR has a photo with her in it and her name on it! I wish you much luck. It is a wonderful photo. She looks like she has worked hard that day, and she's too tired to make that chicken supper for tonight!
